Rick rejoined Certsure in June 2023, following his initial appointment at the company in financial and commercial roles from January 2022 to July 2023. He holds over 20 years of experience as a Finance Director in strategic finance and governance.
He has experience working for local authorities, police, the NHS, charities/social enterprises, and commercial companies. Since 2017, he has leveraged this experience as an interim consultant and Finance Director (FD), serving clients in various sectors such as charities, commercial SMEs, a government department, a multi-academy trust, and a community interest company. Currently, he leads strategic finance and procurement at Certsure.
Rick brings over 20 years of strategic finance and governance experience to director-level roles, spanning both private and public sectors, including the NHS, government and local authorities, the police service, charities and social enterprise organisations.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA).
He has held numerous Trustee and independent Audit Committee roles. He is currently Trustee and Treasurer with Citizens Advice Essex.
