Certsure, a leading UKAS accredited certification body in the electrical contracting industry, has announced that Alex Robinson has been appointed as Head of Product Development.
Having began his career as an electrical apprentice, Alex has over 20 years’ experience within the electrical industry and has worked on and managed a range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects in the public and private sectors.
During this time, Alex has also worked in education helping to shape the future generation of the industry through his work as a lecturer at one of the largest colleges in the UK, Coleg Cambria, and more recently he held the roles of Technical Training Developer and Learning Experience Manager at NICEIC, the UK’s leading electrical certification body.
Using his experience and skills to support and celebrate industry talent, Alex is a member of the judging panel for SkillELECTRIC and was previously the Lead Technical Advisor for Building Services Engineering (BSE) at EAL Awards.
In his new role, Alex will oversee the Certsure and NICEIC portfolio of education and training products, working in partnership with the training delivery team.
